Temple Days

So this past week has been pretty hectic. I had a job interview. Did not get the job. My grandma, sister and nephew all visited the hospital. Craziness. However, Tuesday morning I was able to get up and go to the temple with my roommate Andreea. The weather has been pretty nice so far. I am enjoying it. I love fall! It is so beautiful. The reds, yellows, oranges. The colors are so vibrant. You definitely dont see these colors in the south. So I got some amazing shots of the temple this weekend. I am hoping to get some more next weekend. But we will see. :)

I love the red and orange trees... :)

I love it! :) :) The Idaho Falls temple is amazing! :)

Pictures actually.

Dear Blog. I thought I would update you today. I havent been the best blogger, but with my sister the only one following you. I figure It will be ok for now. LIFE is crazy. :) I have had many amazing and wonderful opportunities lately. I have realized that I need to take each day as its own, and have faith in our Savior. :) He is amazing. I am really enjoying this semester. It has been busy, fun, stressful, and amazing.

So this week. I totally got bells palsy again. For those.... Um wait my sister is the only one that reads this, but anyways its a paralysis of the facial muscles.. Here is an amazing picture. Dont judge. Its late at night and I am tired.

So... As you can see Half my smile is closed. Boo. It was worse than this. thanks to some b12 and some good medicine it is slowly getting better. The doctor was talking about doing an MRI... $2000. Um no thanks. I will settle for a shot and some meds.

Today has not been very productive. I took a test, worked in a group and went to a soccer game for my FHE brother. Instead of taking lots of pictures of the game. I took them of people around me. Sad day... Oh well, Here is my favorite picture.

These girls were rockin some boots out. I loved it. They totally went with the tights and shirts too??? Um no. But I liked the boots nonetheless. :)

School and such.

I miss you all so very very much. School is going good. I am enjoying my classes. They will definitely keep my busy. Which is a good thing. I might, might being a key word, be getting over my homesickness. My roommates are amazing. We are constantly laughing. I love them.

My classes are going great. I love my Broadcasting class. Robin... Its all about pod casting! Woo hoo! I will definitely be prepared for January. My PR writing class is very interesting and fun. I think I will definitely enhance my writing skills. I am slightly nervous for my Flash class. It is an enhanced web design class. The teacher is just all over the place, but I am excited to learn more about web design. It will definitely require studying and learning on my own. :) My research class is going to be very interesting. It's all about researching the trends of the media, and learning to do primary research. My teachers goal is that one day one of us will be able to publish a book on some type of research. One that future people will be citing. I have to come up with an idea to research. Any suggestions??? I am thinking maybe the affect that music has on people? I know I have to narrow it down a little bit, but that is where I was starting. Someone in my class is thinking about doing the affect that the media has on LDS women and eating disorders. Interesting.

So I bet you are all wondering if anything interesting has happened yet???? Well Sunday afternoon my roommate Ashlie and I were sitting on the sofa watching tv and talking. She opened the door and the apartment across the hall was open. We could see this person sprawled out across the sofa and they had a fake FOOT!!! Woah. Ok so we were slightly freaking out. Ashlie asked if I thought it was a girl or guy? It definitely looked like a guys foot! So, she decided to go check the mail to see his face. (Yes, we will probably burn for this story. :) ) Well of course the guy noticed her staring at him. Anyways, Ashlie left for a Relief Society meeting and I was home alone when our door bell went off. I opened it and it was the guy. He asked if a blond chick lived in my apartment. Of course, all of my roommates except one has blond hair. So he said that he noticed her checking him out from across the hall and thought she was really cute, and wanted to leave her a message. I of course had to glance down to see his foot. haha. Anyways. We started talking and he seemed pretty nice, in a goofy way. When he was getting ready to leave he was like can I do anything for you? Before I knew what was happening he had grabbed my phone and put his number in and took my number. and was like "I am so excited!! I came to meet someone that is really cute and I found another cool friend too!" haha!! It was so random and funny. When Ashlie got home we were hysterical!!! it was so so funny. I had to text him later and tell him she was kind of dating someone. Which she isn't. It was sad. :( Oh well. That is the craziest thing that has happened thus far. I will keep y'all up to date. haha

Anyways, I am going to hike R Mountain today. Wish me luck. :) :) I will send pictures of it. Love you all bunches and bunches and keep me updated on how everyone is doing.

I am way excited for what the future holds. My roommates that I have met thus far seem really cool. I like them. Its good to be back and see all of my old friends again. I am loving it. :) :) I dont like being far away from home, but I guess I will live. Supposedly great things are going to happen for me this semester. hahaha Thanks, President Garrett, Mom and Tracy. :)

First off Happy Halloween!!!! Second off... Ok.. SO I officially suck at Blogging. What the heck? You would think it would be easy. So.. what is new in my life? Well... The semester is almost finished. Thank goodness.. It has been such a long semester. 18 credits is enough to kill someone, but I am ready to graduate. My roommates and I are getting along well. We've had a few ups and downs throughtout the semester. Heidi ended up with Appendicitis. That was an adventure. Kailee and Bianca are basically engaged. Shareece, gave up her title as Mrs. Teen Idaho last weekend, and Subi is sick right now. Sad day! I am getting excited for my internship this winter with Bay-Waveland School District. Im mainly just excited to go home for a while. :) Im ready for Thanksgiving too.. Spaghetti Bake here I come!! haha j/k sister! I know you will cook me some other yummy foods too. Im going to Tracy's for Thanksgiving this year! I am way excited. I definitely do not want to stay in Rexburg, ID for the best day of the year... TURKEY DAY! So my computer is finally fixed as you can see. I lost everything off of it. Which makes me upset. All my pictures, files etc. Yet, I still have a computer. It was weird not having it for two weeks, but its funny now because I am ok without it. I dont use it as much as I used too. Gas is going down as well. That is a good thing!! It makes me wish I were leaving to come home now. Im just nervous it will go up again before I come home. Oh well! Anyways... I better get finished with some homework. I will post pictures up later. I keep saying that but I really will. I lost all my pictures so I have to start over new. Anyways Love y'all bunches.

Life as it comes

Hello Family and Friends...
Well, as usual school is going great! I am enjoying each class I have, and trying to apply all of my abilities, strength and time into learning more each day. I am learning so much and gaining such valuable experiences to help me throughout life. My roommates are absolutely amazing girls. They are fabulous. I will post a picture of them up here hopefully this week. My roommate Shareece is not in town right now, but when she gets back we definitely plan on taking some pictures. Shareece is my roommate that is Miss Teen Idaho for 2008. She left Friday to go give her farewell speech for her title. I know you will probably be thinking, "oh my goodness... How is Stephanie living with a pageant girl?" No! She is amazing and so down to earth. Kailee is my room roommate. She is awesome too. Way down to earth. Her boyfriend is back home in Orem/Provo area. She plans on being gone a couple weekends of the semester, so for some time I will have my own room! I went on a retreat for Student Ambassadors this weekend. I have to say it was one of the most amazing things I have done in a long time. We had the opportunity to go the Mesa Falls and partake of a spiritual thought overlooking the waterfalls. It was amazing we talked about why we joined the student ambassador team. I realized how much I love this institution. Each of us in that program have such unique stories of how we came to BYU-I and why we joined the ambassador program. It was amazing to see Heavenly Fathers hand in each of our lives. We stayed at a place called Mafia cabin. BYU-I owns mafia cabin. However, there is a long story behind it. It was originally owned by a plastic surgeon from California. He would do plastic surgeon on Mafia members and let them recuperate in this cabin. The cabin is located in Island Park an hour north of the school. It is all just rumors, but I just want you to know that it is so scary there!! They even have trap doors and hidden hideaways. Pretty amazing! I didn't even have phone service there! The neighbors even say that at all hours of the night they could see helicopters and black limousines coming in and out of the property. It was amazing though. We also woke up this morning and took a ride up a mountain. The scariest drive ever! yes I was riding on the outside edge of the van. The side where it looked like we were going to pivot of the side of the mountain if we went two feet further! SCARY! When we got to the top it was so beautiful. It was like 10 degrees, but it was amazing! I could see for miles. We were also only 15 miles away from yellowstone which made me so mad that I didnt get to go there! Grrr.. We also talked about the spirit of Ricks here on campus. It was interesting to discuss with fellow peers the significance of how we are taught to apply the gospel and Jesus Christ in our life no matter what social setting we are in. It was also pointed out the importance of remembrance. I think It was President Benson that said the most important word in the English language was remember. Anyways, I miss you all and Love you bunches. I am going to bed now... I will post pictures tomorrow..
